Why does Obama want to bolster Afghan troops!

I've been wondering why Obama would want to build up troops in Afghanistan?

Is it to prove Bush was wrong to go into Iraq?

Is it for the Oil?

Is it to "poke" Pakistan?

Is it to catch more terriorists that may need to be housed at Gitmo?

Or is it to show that Bush was not wrong in asking for help from NATO? Cause if NATO fails in Afganistan, then Nato loses influence in Europe, which means the US loses power in Europe, during Obama's presidency?

Anyway, some questions that will be answered in the next 4 years I guess.

Any opinions?

Insert the Delta Force, Rangers, and the 82D Airborne into Afghanistan. Turn them LOOSE with whatever they need, including permission to enter Pakistan to persue the Taliban.

Mission Accomplished.

BTW, I don't believe there is any oil in Afghanistan, just poppies for the heroin trade.

The US is pushing for a pipeline through Afganistan, Russia is pushing for it to go through their "allies" countries', coming from the Caspian!

Here Loomix, info. I'm suprised the lefties didn't pick up on this before. If not on this route, probably through Iran, is the plan.
