Not coincidentally, the delays punt implementation beyond congressional elections in November.

The win-at-all-cost mentality helped create a culture in which a partisan-line vote was deemed sufficient for passing transcendent legislation. It spurred advisers to develop a dishonest talking point—"If you like your health plan, you'll be able to keep your health plan." And political expediency led Obama to repeat the line, over and over and over again, when he knew, or should have known, it was false.

Defending the ACA became painfully harder when online insurance markets were launched from a multi-million-dollar website that didn't work, when autopsies on the administration's actions revealed an epidemic of incompetence that began in the Oval Office and ended with no accountability.

Then officials started fudging numbers and massaging facts to promote implementation, nothing illegal or even extraordinary for this era of spin.

If not illegal, the changes are fueling suspicion among Obama-loathing conservatives, and confusion among the rest of us. Even the law's most fervent supporters are frustrated.

Yes, Obamacare is a tax.

ouch.. and that from a supporter..

and he didn't even mention the cost

there were a few on here who supported the law..

yet for some reason they are silent now..

my bet is they have read the news on the law and realize it is a train wreck for America..

According to Judge Napolitano Obama stepped way over the line with this latest delay as he is requiring the companies with between 50 and 99 employees sign a paper with the IRS promising they will not fire anyone to get down under the 50 employee requirements to get out of complying to the mandate and if they do they can be charged with perjury and criminal offences. In other words Obama wrote a new law making something illegal and punishable through the IRS. Employers can't fire employees due to the Obamacare mandates. It is not Obama's Constitutional right to write laws AT ALL. He is to implement the laws but NOT WRITE THEM.

I hope a company with 51 employees signs the papers then fires 2 people to get under the 50 employee limit and publicly claim it is because of Obamacare and when the IRS goes after them, they SUE OBAMA'S PEN all the way to the Supreme Court to stop him.

If the Supreme Court does not step up the US is screwed as Obama is setting a very dangerous precedence that allows any following President to write and rewrite any law they don't like. Obama needs to be sued on the immigration law, EPA regulations and all the mandate delays to name a few issues.
