what does that have to do with anything? you're saying thirty some million canadians should spend as much on american goods as three hundred and some million americans spend on canadian production. do you ever stop to think how ludicrous your arguments are? silly little man! that's like saying the packers should pay the guy with a hundred fats the same amount as the guy with a thousand. it's only fair. better take your meds and get some rest.

No, I'm not saying that - not even close.

Never said we were getting screwed but damn sick and tired of y'all whining about how your being abused by big bad Canada and Mexico And China and ..............

:agree:

As far as NAFTA goes, we've put a lot more on line than a lot of us are comfortable with, and gotten not a lot in return for it, other than perhaps having avoided an invasion. It's like living next to the Borg. "Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated."

We signed on and put our lot in with you with an expectation that this was a two way street.... Oh silly us.    Now we're getting all Walmarted and Burger Kinged and still have to listen to how free trade has ruined the American economy. It gets a little tired after a while. A U.S. citizen can come to Canada and feel right at home, staying in a Howard Johnston, eating ribs at Applebee's, and picking up the latest news on CNN. And on that same CNN, he can listen to Lou Dobbs rant on about how Canada and NAFTA have ruined his life. Geezzz........

All we ask is for a little respect. And for the U.S. to honour it's word.

There's a few of us that would like our government to prioritize the welfare of the PEOPLE, not the corporations who "donate" into the election coffers and to respect and follow the Constitution, which is the highest law in the land. I don't think that is a lot to ask.
