Influential Republicans are setting their sights on toppling the Obama administration as evidence of a cover-up over the assault on the Benghazi consulate gets stronger.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is now openly talking about impeachment, saying he does not believe Barack Obama will survive the remaining 3½ years of his presidency.

“When a president lies to the American people and is part of a cover-up, he cannot continue to govern,” Huckabee said on his radio show Monday.

“As the facts come out, I think we’re going to see something startling. And before it’s over, I don’t think this president will finish his term unless somehow they can delay it in Congress past the next 3½ years.”

Huckabee isn’t alone in his belief that Obama could be toppled. The pressure is growing just as Congressional hearings on the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks that left four Americans dead are due to start on Wednesday.

Rep. Darrell Issa of California, who will chair those hearings as chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said he intends to make the president “come clean.”

I've read several such articles but think they represent nothing more than wishful thinking. Our current King is the biggest Blame-it-on-someone-else-in-Chief that I've ever seen in my lifetime. Remember, the buck stops no where near this empty suit.

And besides, would you want this occupying the King's position?

Would Fruitcake Joe help topple Obama for his crack at the White House?

You know what, Traveler? I had that same thought. In fact I mentioned that
very thing to my husband this morning. I guess time will tell.
One thing about it, if it happens, old Joe won't be able to get anything done.
And that, would be a good thing.

I was wondering.... If old Madam Clinton really wanted a shot at the 2016 president race and felt if she was in danger of being the escape goat.... why wouldn't she come out with she did all she could but Barry was the one who gummed up the response to Benghazi.

Then she could run on how strong she tried to defend american lives and if only she had been president at the time. She would have been there to pickup the phone at 2:00 am. :gag:

this leaves only one real option in blaming someone... Hillery..

the generals and admirals have been re-assigned or forced to retire..

Although Petraeus was given good marks by most observers for his work heading the CIA,[177] during October 2012 some critics took issue with the availability of accurate information from the CIA concerning a terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, the month prior.

On November 9, 2012, General Petraeus resigned from his position as Director of the CIA, citing his extramarital affair which was reportedly discovered in the course of an FBI investigation.[19]

so far few can talk because of the nature of the CIA mission and it's classifications..

the list of firings / reassignments after Benghazi is unprecedented..

In an unusual move, the Navy has replaced an admiral commanding an aircraft carrier strike group while it is deployed to the Middle East.

Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette, the commander of the USS John C. Stennis strike group, is being returned to the United States for temporary reassignment.

A Navy official familiar with the circumstances of the investigation said it involved allegations of “inappropriate leadership judgment” and stressed it was not related to personal conduct.

He was cleared of any criminal violations under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, the laws governing the behavior of armed services personnel. But a set of administrative penalties will effectively end his career.

This GRU report, however, states that Admiral Gaouette’s firing by President Obama was due to this strike force commander disobeying orders when he ordered his forces on 11 September to “assist and provide intelligence for” American military forces ordered into action by US Army General Carter Ham, who was then the commander of the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), against terrorist forces attacking the American Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

General Ham had been in command of the initial 2011 US-NATO military intervention in Libya who, like Admiral Gaouette, was fired by Obama. And as we can, in part, read from US military insider accounts of this growing internal conflict between the White House and US Military leaders

In November 2012, he came under investigation for possible "inappropriate-communication" concerning his correspondences with Jill Kelley.[17] In response to the investigation, Secretary Panetta has suspended his confirmation hearing for commander of EUCOM and requested the U.S. Congress to speed the confirmation of General Joseph F. Dunford, Jr. to command of forces in Afghanistan.[18] On January 22, 2013, General Allen was cleared in a misconduct inquiry.[19]

On February 10, 2013, Allen relinquished command of the International Security Assistance Force and U.S. Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A)

On February 19, 2013, President Obama accepted General Allen's request to retire from the military

In addition, Gen. Joseph Dunford -the Marine Corps' 2nd in command- is also suddenly 'stepping down'..

quite a list of investigations and nothing found other then destroyed careers....

who will Obama hang this on other then Hillery...

This SOB Oblamea is like Teflon, nothing sticks to him............... :( The press won't let it .

and those like OT, that voted for him, have no principles, or are too stupid to realize what they have done, by voting for him.

Or they hide in the shadows, because they have come to a point they are too embarrassed to defend Barry any longer.

Right OT?

Maybe you're afraid of being labelled a "racist", if you disagree with him?
