I voted yes thinking of small or unheathy deer, but No way do I think 1 bobcat could take down a heathy buck, not with the size of deer we have here.

Yes, I've seen the picture, what do you thick that deer weights to me it looks pretty little I've seen deer in Texas their not a lot bigger than are fawns are at 5 to 6 months of age. That deer does not look much bigger that the cat.

That looks to me to be around a yearling deer. Anywhere between 75-95 lbs. Sure not very big, but still a bobcat could take down a healthy deer if it chooses too.

Bobcats will absolutely catch young, mainly newborn deer. I saw one dragging a fawn this past August.

But I don't think they'd catch a grown healthy one.

PS Doctor Mike I wuz eyeballin the pictures big dummie from big beaver posted recently and I noticed poor Miss Tam is very short legged,Im afraid she is gonna get lost in deep snow,is there some way you could gain her some height ?
