It sure won't be McCabe after he just made Trump look like a liar this morning.

He needs to be out on his ass, too.

During his wife Jill McCabe's 2015 campaign for a Virginia State Senate seat, she received donations amounting to more than $675,000 from Terry McAuliffe's political organization and the Democratic Party of Virginia.[7] Because of this, Republicans have criticized McCabe for not recusing himself from investigations regarding the Hillary Clinton email controversy.[8] The FBI released a statement during Jill McCabe's campaign to say that Andrew McCabe "played no role, attended no events, and did not participate in fundraising or support of any kind. Months after the completion of her campaign, then-Associate Deputy Director McCabe was promoted to Deputy, where, in that position, he assumed for the first time, an oversight role in the investigation into Secretary Clinton’s emails."[7] Trump referred to this controversy during his campaign at rallies held in Florida, where he said, "The man who was in charge of the investigation of Hillary Clinton accepted essentially from Hillary Clinton $675,000 that went to his wife."[9] Some have refuted the allegations against McCabe on the basis that Jill McCabe's campaign finished several months before he became Deputy Director of the FBI and was brought in to oversee the Clinton email investigation.[9] Michael E. Horowitz, Inspector General of the United States Department of Justice, announced on January 12, 2017 that he would be reviewing the allegations that Andrew McCabe should have recused, among other concerns about the handling of the Clinton email controversy.[10]
McCabe was also criticized alongside FBI Director James Comey in 2017 for speaking with White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus about an ongoing investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections.

at the level these guys are at, they have a circle of folk who often tell them what they want to hear and keep their mouths shut on their own feelings until they are the top guy. So all this he said she said is just that. So anyone who claims to understand how the morale is and who is on which side is full of bull crap.

McCabe testified on Capitol Hill amid reports that Trump had dismissed Comey partly because he was infuriated about the bureau's probe into whether his campaign aides colluded with Moscow. He said nothing could prevent the FBI from "doing the right thing" but promised to tell the Senate intelligence committee if any attempt was made to thwart the investigation.
Amid reports that Comey had asked for more resources for the Russia investigation, McCabe testified that he believed the bureau had adequate resources to complete the job. He was asked by Republican Sen. Marco Rubio whether the dismissal of Comey had "in any way impeded, interrupted, stopped or negatively impacted" the investigation.

"As you know, senator, the work of the men and women of the FBI continues despite any changes in circumstance, any decisions, so there has been no effort to impede our investigation to date," McCabe told members of the Senate intelligence committee. "Simply put, sir, you cannot stop the men and women of the FBI from doing the right thing, protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution."

In an earlier question from ranking Democrat Mark Warner, he vowed "absolutely" to inform the committee if Trump's White house did take steps to interfere.

maybe Trump wanted a person who has the guts to stand up to him? As it appears he is willing to claim he will do for the time being on the issue of the so-called investigation.

But I don't understand how informing a committee of the status of an investigation is any different then informing the president.

Seems Trump isn't making to many friends out in he DC swamp anyways.. maybe this is a real indicator of the "moral"

Trump Told He Would Not Be Greeted Warmly at FBI.

The White House has abandoned the idea of President Trump visiting FBI headquarters after being told he would not be greeted warmly, administration officials told NBC News.

Amid the continuing fallout over his decision to fire FBI Director James Comey, Trump was considering an appearance at the FBI's J Edgar Hoover Building in downtown Washington, DC. The White House publicly floated the idea as recently as Thursday morning.

Spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders, asked by a reporter whether such a visit was imminent, replied, I believe that it's very likely that takes place sometime in the next few days."

But that idea was dropped later Thursday, administration officials said, after the FBI told the White House the optics would not be good. FBI officials made clear that the president would not draw many smiles and cheers, having just unceremoniously sacked a very popular director. "My sense is most FBI employees feel a loyalty to Comey," one person who works at headquarters told NBC News. "And whether they agree or disagree with the way he handled the email case, like and respect him ... Trump would not be well-received at headquarters."

well that is at least NBC news side of it... Would they report if the same guy said they were high fiving and fist bumping after the news broke?

Not to get off topic, but I am impressed with the way that Sarah Huckabee Sanders is able to handle those lying pieces of crap known as the mainstream media, whenever I've seen her in action.

I was waiting for her to say, "countless means, I didn't count... I listened".

An impressive amount of stupidity/irony in such a short post.
