Liberals often want a humanitarian or human rights cause..
in Syria.. both sides have blood on their hands.. on one side is a brutal regime,.. on the other is terrorists.. (now both sides have terrorists)..
so why should we intervene?
cause Putin was wrong.. it wasn't intestines.. but instead was the soldiers heart..
sadly,.. the average Syrian,.. probably just wants peace and to go back to their lives...
our governments view of this guy and his colleagues..
and when this was reported..
as if he was eating it? ... well at least we condemned them publicly for all this crap...
oh no need to, the video and reports are not credible.. even when the guy defended his actions to a journalist?
so should we stay out or join and help the cannibal terrorists?
“You will not deny that one does not really need to support the people who not only kill their enemies, but open up their bodies, eat their intestines in front of the public and cameras,” he almost spat. “Are these the people you want to support? Is it them who you want to supply with weapons? Then this probably has little relation to humanitarian values that have been preached in Europe for hundreds of years.”

‘Eye for an eye’: Eating Syrian soldier’s heart was legitimate act of vengeance, says rebel in gruesome video
A Syrian rebel militia leader who filmed cutting the heart and organs out of a regime soldier’s body and putting it in his mouth has defended his actions as legitimate vengeance.
The video purported to show him cutting the lungs out of a soldier’s corpse before apparently eating a small piece of the organ. “I swear to God we will eat your hearts,
speaking to Time magazine, he said he had no regrets about taking revenge – “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth” – after finding images of regime abuses on the dead soldier’s mobile phone.
“We opened his cell phone and I found a clip of a woman and her two daughters fully naked, and he was humiliating them,” he said. “Hopefully, we will slaughter all of them
He said that he possessed another video of himself “sawing” a member of the pro-regime Shabiha militia with a “saw we use to cut trees.” Hamad added: “I sawed him in small pieces and large ones.”
In Damascus, Ali Haider, the minister for reconciliation, said this was only one of many atrocities carried out by the regime’s enemies.
“If the international media has just discovered this now, then they are coming to it very late. These type of atrocities have been happening in Syria since the beginning of the crisis. The international community just didn’t want to admit it,” he said.
“We have documented hundreds of acts that are equally as horrific as the one documented in this video. We have seen one of our pilots’ heads cut off and cooked on a grill. We have seen rebels toasting their success by drinking the blood of their victims.”
“Did you see what these animals do?” asked one woman who declined to give her name. “They are devils. How can any human being do this? How can the West support these extremists?”
Human Rights Watch said Hamad should be brought to justice. “The desecration and mutilation of a killed person is definitely a war crime,” said Peter Bouckaert, the emergencies director. “This one is particularly disturbing because of the sectarian nature of the language used.”
He described the rebel as a “very significant commander” adding: “The danger is that extremists on both sides will feel the need to respond in kind.”

consider the Farouq Brigade to be “moderately Islamist” – that is, neither secular nor Salafis. While many of their fighters wear Jihadist-style black headbands and beards, it is unclear how much of this is genuine belief and how much is to secure additional funding from Islamist donors.
and when this was reported..
In April 2012, the Farouq Brigade was accused of collecting Jizyah, or taxes imposed on non-Muslims living under Muslim rule, in Christian areas of Homs province.
There were also reports that the group had expelled 90% of the Christian population of Homs City.
n August 2012, Lieutenant Abdul Razzaq Tlass, one of the Farouq Brigades top leaders, was implicated in a sex scandal when the video was posted to YouTube
In May 2013, a video was posted on the internet showing rebel commander Abu Sakkar cutting organs from the dead body of a Syrian soldier and putting one of them in his mouth, "as if he is taking a bite out of it". He called rebels to follow his example and terrorize the Alawite sect
as if he was eating it? ... well at least we condemned them publicly for all this crap...
However, the group denied this and the Institute for the Study of War said that "the accusation is likely from the Assad regime"
