You should get the video. It's 14.95, 30 minutes long. At the end
he shows the problems he had roping some of that stuff; that was great.
Did the YouTube clip show him roping the mouse?
We never tire of watching it. We forget about it sometimes, but
when anyone shows up and we talk about roping, out comes the video.

I bet they'd even sell it to Canadians. :p

No they didn't show him roping the mouse.

I have roped a dog like he did. It was chasing the cat and came up short :D

I had a friend "Frank Dean" that wrote a book "The Rope Tricks Of Will Rogers" (Frank and his Wife were in their 70's when I knew them)
I had 3 Horses that would Run True to a rope (Not Duck Off) and I traveled many Local Rodeos with him (Frank could "Stand on his head WITH his Head in a Bucket" and Rope 3 Horses going by.

I lent my copy of his book out and It's gone...

Had a real good time watching that Will Rogers stuff. Ed Brown and I were storm stayed at Davidson on the way back from Sonningdale, and we got talking about Will Rodgers. Couldn't believe the crowd we had up there. Filled the hall., and they sure were a great audience. Soon as Ed wakes up from his nap, I'm going to show him this stuff.

Is Ed camping at your place ?

He better buy a new shovel if he is headed to Oak Lake.

Good Morning! Yes Ed is still here, and he is no problem at all. He listens good, and has given me some good ideas for my writings. He has a better memory than I do, so I'm making notes. He has his guitar inside keeping warm and he has let me hear some of his new songs. He almost has another CD put together.

You two would almost be to old to get into trouble, wouldn't you?

We been eating toast and bacon and watching the view. I'm thinking we will be totally converted and turn into kinder gentler folk before this storm stay is over. I have to clean up the kitchen a little before T. gets home from work. could take me a while.

I'm very comfortable with my masculinity, but I did make a little mistake shortly after I retired. I jokingly mentioned that "the cooking had really improved since I took over." I now have to go the extra mile with things like laundry and such, especially after the red sock incident.
