I am thinking of planting this crop under our center pivots after we cut the millet hay off .Probably end of September I am needing some more information and pricing of seed and expected tonnage... Also if there is a seed distributer in northern Nebraska or south Central South Dakota

I too am looking for some in SD area

I'm in south central SD and am too really considering trying some.
What little info I can find on the net is planting depth is 1/2 inch. We
normally plant wheat at 1-2 inches. There is a lot of winter triticale planted
in this part of the country and was wondering if this wheat is sort of the same thing. Triticale gets tall like rye and does make pretty good spring
grazing and lots of tonnage for feed. The big downfall is it a cross between
rye and wheat.
