We had a bad windstorm (tornado) here Sunday, May 13th and
our power was off til Tuesday, May 15th at 5 pm. I took some
pictures and couldn't get them to download. I figured out that
I forgot to take the checkmark out of "Disable". Anyway, here
are some pictures of the damage at our place.

This WAS a concete building that WAS on it's last legs.

Windbreak that was blown down and some of it was new.
Mr. FH had used ringshank nails and they pulled out causing
the demolition. He said the boards should have been screwed on
and may have held.

We had been through a tornado in Western Montana that took down
500 cottonwood trees on our place, plus some buildings. Mr. FH was
home when that happened and he said this storm was just like that.
First a whistle, then a ROAR.

He sure didn't need this to happen, he has cleaned up a lot of
storm damage in his life, including damage from a 100-year flood
in W. Montana, but he says, "I'm getting good at it."

Mom lost her 50 year old Chokecherry tree, FH. Kind of bummed out about that one. It stood about 15 feet in front of the front door.

Some stockade fence, too.

No injuries or damage to the house, though, so have to be grateful for that.

Tough looking storm FH. We always have to pay for our moisture in one way or another in this country. I am sure the clean up is something to look forward to.
