Wind & snow

Is everyone tired of snow pictures? I wish I could go out and take some warm weather shots but it may be awhile.

We had around a foot of more snow the other day and last night we had steady winds of 60-70 mph. I went out in my 4wd tractor with a blade on the front thinking I'd plow down to the cows. I decided to quit and let the county do the plowing. This was my stopping point.

My wife talking to the snow plow driver. He said it gets real bad a couple blocks west of us.

Wind it picking up again now, 30-40 mph. It's suppose to blow hard again tonight. :(

We're lucky we don't usually get that kind of snow. We had 2-3" here this morning, and the road to town just has a few "finger drifts" coming across in places. The trail to the feedstacks is a different story.

Wow that blade guy you have is really serious with a v plow, a wing plow and two sets of chains on that 140. Never ran a blade with a wing plow can only guess that it would really take power to make all that work. I also like your sled that looks like it would come in handy. 8) You are welcome post all the snow pic's you would like to just please don't share your snow for real. I have seen enough to suit me for the year...

You won't believe this but I've been hoping we get a real snow here before winter quits. Just rain, rain. Dreary. The hyacinth bulbs are peaking up now and though the temps are supposed to dip down, no snow in forecast :x
