That picture was taken probably at 11'00 P'M up at Canoe Lake-the north half of Saskatchewan is nothing but lakes and forest. If you like fishing it's heaven on earth-it seems the only time we go is if company from the U'S shows up lol. That other pic is the first fish Ty ever caught-nice big Walleye.

Good photo, Jassy. All were good photos and different than what I expected we would get. That's what makes this contest fun.

NR, I must apologize to you for not getting the picture in on time.
I had PM'd you that you needed to send it to Jersey Lilly because I couldn't remember how to forward it from me to her. Then I was gone for a few days. When I got back I saw she had PM'd me that she hadn't received it when she posted the other pictures.I sent it as soon as I got the message. Please keep entering...

I'd love to bring my grandson up there fishing. I wonder how I could do that? Could we fly in, or do we need to drive? Long drive...

Congratulations, Jassy. Nice peaceful picture.

This would have been Peach Blossom's entry, had she taken it soon enough. It is of my sister fishing Sunday morning.

Faster Horses it's not that far a drive-I've done it in one day many times-by the time you drove to Billings to catch the plane and I drove to Saskatoon to pick you up we'd have half the trip used up. Once ypou get by the first couple hundred miles of flat wheat stubble Saskatchewan gets pretty sweet. Your grandson would love the lakes up here-Ty could take him spearfishing which is even more fun. So far I've had buddies fropm South Dakota,Colorado, Wyoming and Montana come here for a pickeral slaying lol. Were pretty spoiled recreation wise up here there's lots to do and alot of country to do it in.

Of course I'm serious-Ty is a big time fishing fanatic and so is Megan's boyfriend between them he'll have a great time. You better be careful it pretty easy to get addicted to loons calling at sunset on a crystal clear lake. Definately drive up though you can't get to know a country or it's people from a plane seat. You'll go right by BMR's door if you cross north of Plentywood.

OHHHHHHHH, I've been wanting to do that with him for 2 years now.
If I don't get it done pretty soon, I'll be at his wedding...he will be 13 years old August 18.

It will just be me bringing him most likely, but I'm gonna talk to his parents and get it all set up. And we will go gopher hunting and then fishing.

At least we don't have to eat the gophers!!!!!!!!

Thanks you guys!!!!!! It is so appreciated.

Heck we'll even run in a few bulls or horses for him if he likes. Ty got on a big TB tonight that bucked him flat off the first time. I put a hame strap on his saddle and he stuck him but that sucker bucked hard for a good five minutes. By the end of the session he had him going not too bad.

Can I be your grand kid?

The fishing road trip sure sounds like a hoot!!! Heck I'd even bait my own hook and clean my own fish!

The hunting gophers sounds fun too, but I'm such a horrid shot that I wouldn't be much help the gopher control arena.

This will be a trip your Grandson will remember & cherish for a lifetime!

Cheers---

TTB
