Congratulations, Clarencen. What was going on at this get-together?

Thanks to those who heard the call for more entries! I would like
to know what the occasion was that put people together in the pictures.
So if you don't mind, would you tell us the rest of the story?

I took that picture in the fall of 1998, we were one a bus tour. That picture was taken on Ray Banister's ranch south of Baker Montana. He described it as being on the divide between the Little Missouri and the Powder River. Banister had a different grazing program, he used extensive grazing to the point where his cows grazed the sage brush, them gave the land a long rest period.

I know about Ray Banister. Thanks for the info. I didn't know Ray had a place
south of Baker. The one I know about is more south of Wibaux~between Wibaux
and Baker. Ray has made quite a name for himself with his grazing protocol.

#6 was at Des Moines, Iowa in October 1978 when Pope John Paul II came there. 350,000 people attended. 26 from north central Nebraska.

I was close, some would consider Woodstock a religious experience. 8) For sure seeing the Pope would be considered a religious experience. Pretty neat photo of the event.

You are probably right FH. when you are on a bus tour you leave your location up to the driver. I wanted people to know that this was in Montana.
