I snapped this photo last summer at a grazing workshop. The exclosure, the man is resting on, showed about 25% usage... consumed by the elk. The permittee's cattle had not been rotated to this pasture yet.

Could have been gcreek, about half of the attendees were blm, forest service, or NRCS employees. The other half were ranchers.
