Congratulations Mrs. Greg, that is an awful perdy lil water fall. If that was anywhere near my house I'd find myself sittin there on a rock somewhere real close quite often.

Congratulations, Mrs. Greg. I wish I was at that spot right now.!!

This was a good catagory; all were beautiful photos that we got to
see and probably never would have, if not for this little contest.

I had the same thought, FH, I wished I was there NOW. It makes me want to pack up and leave the city and head for spots that look like this.

While I picked this shot for the same reason, wanting to vacation in a spot like that, I would never want to live somewhere like that.
You can't see!
Trees... mountains... They're just walls blocking you in.

But that photo is exactly the kind of thing I'd put on my wall. :)

That picture was taken in Kananaskis Country in Alberta, its just out of Calgary a little ways.We horse camp at the Little Elbow and this is a hike from the campground. The picture was taken on a cloudy day, theres beautful mountains in the background you can't see for clouds! Also interesting, the picture was taken with a disposable camera.I LOVE the mountains, born and raised in Calgary and get REALLY homesick for that area of Alta.

I voted for this picture because it just called to me. Sounds corny, I know, but I have a strong love for the mountains and all the wonderful scenery associated with them. Some day I will be proud to call the Rocky Mountains my home. Enough of this bald-faced prairie living for me!

Beautiful picture, Mrs. Greg.

The picture looks pretty similar to Daisy Creek where our yearlings run. It was a good picture, for sure.

Shelly,

The prarie's have stubble... they're nto completely bald yet. lol

Maybe so.......but it's pretty flat when you can see your dog running away from home for three days straight! :)
Actually, where I live, there's lots of bush and our one pasture has some pretty big hills. Still, would rather live in the mountains, though.
