Winter fun

My BIL keeps kids entertained in the winter with a little ice. This rink is often full in the evenings. He is a Youth Paster in the nearby town.

Someday I expect to see a Zamboni when I show up there.

Kraft Hockeyville. TV show, contest, voting etc. Not likely to see a winner out of Alberta. Warner has a Girls live in Hockey School of Excellence. Pretty impressive program. Stresses Academics and Hockey. Still lots of outdoor rinks up here, some right outside the indoor rinks so the Zamboni can be utilized. One town here has an ice plant on their outdoor rink to extend the outdoor season. Kind of a popular pastime.

A little difficult to make a rink on a sidehill during a Chinook isn't it? :p
