The day didn't turn out to be quite as bad as anticipated, but tonight and tomorrow could still bring substantial amounts of snow and blow.

I would love to have that much snow   :p
County plowed out the county road this morning- big drifts I'd of never got thru-- and I was able to get in to town to have the High Judge swear me in for one "last" term (in talking with District Judge McKeons wife- they were not sure they would make it today either- and thought they may have to do it over the internet)-- and by the time I came home later this afternoon- the road already was getting some fairly good drifts-- but mainly was hard to see because of the absence of no ditchs or nothing....Everything looks the same- from roadside to roadside- from ground to skyline- everything is white....Can't tell where you are...

I hope with your storm you don't get the minus 20 temps we're supposed to get tonight that are following it down...

Enjoy it Soap...

I know what you are going through Oldtimer, the last 2 winters here were much like you are describing now. We have been very lucky so far this year. We'll see what tonight and tomorrow bring though. Hang in there, every day is one day closer to spring.

My wife got me a new Handy Dandy weather Doo Dad too for Christmas because the old one was giving me problems off and on-- so now I have a new one in the living room (with Gizmos on it I still haven't figured out)-- and my old one in the office above my desk...And right now looking at the old one the temp is 1 Below- with 10 mph NNW winds--- and I just came in a few minutes ago, and since the wind is so low- it almost feels nice  :)
