My 87 year old uncle occasionally sends a few words around to family members. He loves his email contacts!

Here is the latest one he sent, and in his style -

good eve,,,
a lovely day, sunny bright and windy day,,temp high 70's today, i folded laundry and did wheel chairs today, went down town to get groceries this after noon,, temp, today,, in the high 70's, not sure if it got to 80,, but it was great day,,
here are some quote's, which i thought was o.k.,,,
the bad new;s is time flies,, the good new;s is you are the pilot,,,,
worry is like a rocking chair,, it will give you some thing to do,, but it won't get you any where,,,
you can not unsay a cruel word,,,
remember silence is some time's, the best answer,,,
a pint of example,,is worth a gallon of advice,,,
age is a question of mind over matter,,, if you don't mind,,, it does not matter,,,
a good memory is one that can remember the day's blessing's and for get the day's trouble's,,, blessing's to all,,,,

thanks burnt, alot of wisdom shared there.
i once thought i didn't want to grow old,but with some of those quotes,it makes a fella feel younger and look forward to it.

after having my stroke,i had some minor memory loss.like going to the mailbox and forgetting what for. :? now i have another reason to go to the mailbox.blessings are great.
