Ty and his buddy were out hunting this A'M-they rattled in a couple bucks then a doe came whipping up to them. She held up and then took off with a big yellow wolf behind her. He gave a doe bleat and stopped him at 60 yards but never got a crack at him. Would of been pretty neat to get one with a muzzleloader-he says that logging area is just polluted with wolf tracks-there's about 400 cows and calves within a couple miles of it too. Guess the wolves up here like deer better than beef. Ty said he heard him howl a bit later so maybe he did get her after all. I can see the wolves hanging out there because there are deer everywhere too.
