An interesting article on wolves...While we have the occasional wolf in our area I was surprised at the size of the packs they are seeing - 25-35+ in a pack... :eek:

Go on down below the article and read the comments about the poor wolves and the as****e ranchers. That will make your blood boil.

Had a big black wolf in my calvin pasture yesterday morning. Just something more you have to deal with here. When people get hungry they will again see the value in ranchers and farmers.

I was reading the booklet that Maine Farm Bureau puts out with their position on various policies. One was about livestock loss from predators, saying the State should pay for the loss. However, about two years ago the Game Warden told me I have the right to shoot anything that appears to be a predator to my livestock (or a threat to my fences for that matter).
