lol... We used to do that behind snowmobilies... Mean big brothers would have their friends build jumps and drag unsuspecting little brothers at full speed over them.. Fun but a little owie.. I bounced a lot better than then I do now. I always think about hooking up one of the quads to a sled and doing it around here... Looks like it would be something the girl would enjoy.. Maybe just take her sledding and use the quad as a tool to get the sled back up the hilll (And yes, we do have some hills in Illinois

IL Rancher,

When we lived in Oswego, IL, my dad used to take us hookey bobbin down the streets with our 1961 Falcon Stationwagon when there was snow. Can't do that anymore in subdivisions, but it was a blast!!! Your kids will love it if you take a care. I still make sure my "hookey bobbers" don't get hurt (too bad) and I don't do stupid things.

Where we lived, there weren't hills :? just flat corn country.

We have our sandhill... Actually, we have some good elevation changes (For Illinois) on this place.. But between those sandhills, where the old flood plain/swamp was is about as flat as flat could be. Before they drained these places they had them surveyed and the quarter sections marked with booyes at the corner.. You had to take a boat from the town to another town (Only thing in that other town was a bar and a whore house)..

The boy is too young for the sledding as he is just 9 months old now but the girl.... We will strap on her helmet she got for the bike that her aunt just had to get her and let her rip, lol..... need to take that polaris in and get it worked on however... Oh well... We shold see some snow by May.

I don't know a kid alive that doesn't just LOVE being pulled by
something.

We used to have ice skating parties in Wyoming on the creek
and we'd pull kids horseback. The horse would be on the bank
and the kid would be on the ice. Anything works.

We had a friend that had one wooden leg, the only thing he couldn't
do was ice skate, or irrigate, the rest he could do. He'd ride a horse
and pull the kids. 'Course sometimes they ran into the creek bank!

What fun we had!!!!!!!!!!!     :!:

kate and i just about killed eachother day before yesterday, we're not as "good" of drivers as hanta is, so instead of sitting on the sled we would see how long we could stand...boy does that hurt when you hit the cow turds!! haha we had alot of fun tho!

I think that's our second national sport up here-the kids actually have little plastic sleds that strap to their butt you can really skip them behind a horse lol. Here's a tip for MCG if you are sneaky and can get ahold of a long tailed cows tail just sit down on your feet and hang on-an EXT would be a good choice-don't ask me how I know this lol.

Oh that looks like a great time...my son and his friends all got together today since they're all home from college..I mentioned sledding behind the ATV...but they wanted to go hunting instead. They must of had a good time, cause they brought home enuff meat to cook for supper and had some left over...which shocked me with 6 18yr olds...sure was fun to have the kids all here again..just like in highschool...I'll miss em when they all head back to college. Your right..your girls will remember today for a long time...
