Burnt, not a lot of grinding/mixing going on around here altho I use an old Gehl for grinding old hay with some syrup for palatability, mostly fall grazing oats/wheat pasture for back grounding steers, even that's a gamble with the weather patterns we have had last few years.
old Gehl has got plenty rusted,as you can do the same thing with lick tanks, lots less labor.
good luck

If we can get a few more tanks dug, and some more fences put up that would be doable. But as of right now....our biggest tank pasture hasta be open because the other tank is a small small one and almost dry.

LOL and right now...that's not gonna happen because the Kumatsu needs a clutch put it in.

When we started runnin cows on this place there were no cross fences whatsoever. We've gradually added fences...but not finished yet. Once we get all the seperate pastures fenced and tanks dug and filled. Then we can start thinking about plantin. We do have one small pasture that we'll probably plant rye in this fall. But it has no water. So will hafta just be left open for them to go in and out as they please while grazin it. And close the gate when we want them off of it.
