A genuine original "rat's a$$" for those who truly care. This was seen at the meeting I attended last night. If you wonder why I am prowling around in the wee hours putting pictures on Ranchers.Net, it is because I drank too much caffeine during the course of the day and night.

Jersey I have a friend has an ld stone house in his yard-I'm not much of a decorator but I think it would be a perfect bed and breakfast house. P.S-there are no evil loons around it either lol.

Word of caution Lilly, old house reno's are always way more work than they appear. My first house was built around 1910, near as anyone can remember, and we moved it to our ranch in 1996. When the reno's started, I said I wasn't moving in until everything was done. Well, it's been 10 years, the wife and I have moved into my folks' house, and the little house still needs some work. Of course, doing reno's on the big house have taken priority, so that always slows production.

It just seems like you're never done with renovations, though they can be alot of fun I admit.

LOL kinda reminds me when we started buildin our present house, I said I wouldnt move in until it was completely finished. Well circumstances changed and we had to move in, in a hurry. We still have what was a double car garage on the plans that we were gonna just make an extra room......for guest room/play room or whatnot.......we've been in the house 8 years and it's still not finished. So I guess my theory was right, if you move in before things are finished, it won't get finished.

Prolly exactly right. But hopefully it will get finished someday, cuz it is the room that leads out to the backyard, hopefully one of these days I'll have a deck to sit on ...ya know.....after the kids are gone.....and a rockin chair out there where I can sit in the mornin and drink my coffee.......
