I guess it is official - - - My grand daughter has had all shots but still contracted Whooping cough , over 1/2 of her kindergarten class had it.
When I got to the Veterans hospital they decided I have whooping cough - - - at 65 years old! My mother (87 years old ) says I have never had it - - - well I can check that off my bucket list. I was coughing so hard that I would vomit and my ribs were so sore they felt like they were broken.
They show I have had a booster shot every year for the last few but said that will not stop the disease - - - just lessens the severity and length.
The doctor said people don't die from Whooping cough they die from exhaustion fighting it!
I feel much better today but I am to stay away from any "dust" for at least 2 weeks - - - we have not had rain sense June - - - everything is dust.
My kids have told me I'm officially a big baby now!
