I think I can forgive Obama for a gaffe like this as long as he doesn't commit war crimes like his predecessor.

But that's just me.

Not me,those dvd's were formatted incorrectly.....For crying out loud
badaxemoo these things were not only formatted improperly but Mr browns gift was historical..At the very least an old cows skull or a totem pole would of made a world of difference.....Some people just do not see this obama for what he is.....A flea market shopper with very bad taste...

I didn't know that the DVDs, in addition to being an underwhelming gift, were formatted incorrectly.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Given he circumstances, there are no other options than impeachment and removal from office.

What ever you think about the gift. Obama doesn't pick them or run the computer to format etc. The question should then be about his ability to hire the right folks to get these things done. This is about management skills. Getting the right people on your team. My outfit usually runs smooth because I am surrounded by competent people. Running the USA would take an pretty good team of competent people to make things run smooth. And no I am not comparing running the US to my ranch other than it takes competent people good at what is needed ie. researching language and gifts, pulling a stock trailer etc. to do what is needed for each enterprise. The folks here are suitable for running a ranch. He needs a team capable of looking after all the details of running a great powerful country.

OT, can I add to your list?

If G.W. Bush regretted making remarks in racially charged case that he admitted to not having all of the facts, yet went ahead and pissed off the nation's cops..

Well ok,impeachment would be much to harsh.....maybe 125 push ups and 4 laps around the white house...Things like this have to be punished,no quiestion about. If not,the next gift he will give away will be the sham "WOW"!! ,as he can get two for the price of one if he calls within the next 20 minutes..I would not put it past him keeping the extra sham WOW for his own personal use,yet allowing it to be paid for by the tax payers..........There is no excuse for bad formatting and unhistorical gifts, just think of the fuel his limo used driving from garage sale to garage sale trying to find the right dvd......Its absolutly shamefull.

There is no excuse for the bad management that led to the inappropriate gifts. If you aren't able to pick folks that can handle these tasks how good are you going to be at finding people for the real important stuff?

I try not to cheer lead.. as I would look really awful in one of those skimpy outfits. (even the ones the male cheerleaders wear) but since Alice jumped first and more then likely could.. I'll try..

Your last posts really seemed to nail the issue.. :tiphat:
