Star Valley hosted the West regional wrestling tournament. Star Valley took 1st and will send 24 wrestlers to state next week Natrona County took 2nd and will send 25 wrestlers,
I had to leave during the championship round to go feed. But I got a report from home that on the radio after the team trophy where handed out. There was a special presentation a $21,900 college scholarship check was given to Dakota Dana, whose parents were killed in a car accident 2 weeks ago, when coming home from a wrestling tournament.
Donations came from wrestling programs all over the state with donations of $4000 to just a few hundred. Local businesses gave a $1 a point for each that SV scoured during the tournament…. Think that was 230
