you really DON'T like him, do you OT?

I don't like what he's done to our country....He's thrown the idea of "rule of law" right out the door from the day he walked in....

And like with this border/immigrant issue - he has shown that he doesn't care what the wishes of the public/citizen/voter are....Its his way or no way!!! :( :( :(

Hitler did the same thing.

I need to add another word to the nickle jar, Borders.
If you REALLY want to fill that jar up, you'll add this:

Neocon(s)

  How did I miss that one! I have to admit OT would be fun at a party we could have some great drinking games were every time OT said GW, Neocons or Borders you had to drink.

Problem is no one at the party would be able to drive home afterwards.

Jigs brought up on another thread how Bush stopped the Iranian Nuclear weapons program. I had not thought of it that way.

What a great day it is to see how affective GW has been in stopping the Iranians Nuclear weapons program in just 3 short years in office.

I think he should be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize! To get one of the biggest Middle East threats to halt their program is a great accomplishment towards peace in the region!

Kolan, thanks for pointing out one of GW's greatest accomplishments as President! I guess that wild west Cowboy approach worked!

just when I thought there wasn't a point you would stoop to,.. you again show how incredibly sorry you really are... comparing the President of the United States to hitler and facist is about as disgusting as a person could get... either you don't fully understand the Holocaust, or your twisted by hatred...

Yeah right, lmao. And as we speak Iranians, radicals, whatever could be coming across the borders. Truth be known they are probably already here having crossed those borders.

And I'd be an alky if I had a drink everytime you or your so called conservative buddies called anyone that complained about the failure of or questioned the actions of this Republican administration (that likes to call itself conservative)- "Liberals" just because they don't agree with Der Fuherer or Lord Cheney- and the direction they are taking this country...

Don’t use the name Hitler, if you have a problem with it. Take the historical parallels only.

The president of Germany (for your made up sensibilities) used nationalism to rally his country. He created the Anschlauss (unification of Germany and Austria) similar to what Bush is trying to do with NAFTA. Open borders—one country. Pushed the line “Globalism is inevitable”. Many have bought that it means we must give up common sense and our sovereignty for free and unfettered trade with the worst and most repressive governments in the world--- selling out the ideas of democracy and freedom-- just to keep prices at Walmart low and the indicators of our economy looking good.

Bush used 911 which was a terrorist act to invade Afghanistan, a country that supported bin Laden, but never finished the job. He then used fear and faulty intelligence to persuade the country to military action in Iraq, which he construed as war, giving the executive branch many more powers, but not being officially declared by Congress. He used that power to spy on Americans and probably political opponents—we don’t know because he did it without oversight. He was supposed to keep the legislative branch in the information loop but we find out that he did not.

He has overseen a presidency where media and corporate concentration are at the highest and most alarming levels just to placate the profits and power of the big elite.

He used the CIA to break international treaties of war that protect our servicemen (Geneva Convention) and torture those he captured. He did it on other nation’s soil because it was not illegal there, and tried to hide it. He then allowed the evidence of the tortures to be destroyed to protect the CIA who did the torture.

He tried to get habeas corpus, a basic right in the constitution and overturned, one of the basic rights in the constitution, and one monarchs in Europe abused.

He declared a never ending war to keep his “war powers” and expands the meaning of his war powers to take away the rights of citizens and the increasing power of the government over them by continuous surveillance and other covert actions in the country. All to protect his elite few.

He refuses to answer to Congress (judicial committee has many outstanding questions for the administration). He had the greatest spin meister, Rove (Goebbels) continually lie, even to the point of outing a CIA agent, considered treason, with no penalty, for political purposes. He pardoned Libby, who did the same thing, then lied about it in an official investigation.

His administration imprisoned a reporter for NOT lying in an investigation in the matter, pardoning a member of the administration, when he (Libby) got caught lying under oath.

He has continuously used manufactured news and substituted it for real news, only admitting it when getting caught red handed, obligatory disdain, when needed.

He has put on more debt on the country than any other president, while calling himself a conservative republican.

He has appointed people to serve in government who are political hacks not loyal to the Constitution, but loyal to him-- and protected them from investigations and enforcement of the laws of the land.

He has stacked the federal courts with fascist judges, always siding, even with the most outrageous interpretations of plain English, with the corporate elites so there is no restitution or penalty paid by the very rich for breaking the law. He has his justice dept. instead go after Martha Stewart, to show everyone he is a law and order president.

His political appointees come directly from the corporate world and tend to advantage them over the interests of the country.

“Corporatism should be more accurately defined as fascism as it is the merging of state and corporate power.” -- Benito Mussolini.

He calls, or has is minions call, everyone who is against him a jew--- I mean a liberal.

I could go on and on. Forget the name and stop being a frog in a pot.

He uses military advice only when he wants to and when it is politically expedient, firing or demoting generals who disagree with him but allowing the use of torture to come directly from his administration (micromanagement).

He continually claims he needs more powers to combat the outside forces of evil, but using those powers on his own citizens.

He says if he doesn't get his way, it might mean another World War, continuously misusing recent history to make a case for his future wars.

He blames all his failures on the legislative branch, always saying it is my way only.

Wait, I forget, are we talking about the former president of Germany or the president of the U.S.?

I was watching a report on Russia today and their upcoming elections and Putin...They were asking people on the street what they felt of Putin rebuilding the Russian military- and how people felt about the US...

And the folks they were interviewing were commenting that they thought Russian/USA relations were worsening- and that they thought Putin was right in rebuilding the military because they would need it to protect their large amount of natural resources from those they thought would try and seize them- the United States.....  :( :(

And Putin is going to use/is using these continuing credibility gaps of GW's- as a propaganda tool to convince his populace and the world that the goal of the US is nation building, war for oil, and colonization for resources... :(

When Dick Cheney, the vice-president and leading Iran hawk, was briefed on the about-turn a couple of weeks ago, there was a “pretty vivid exchange” with intelligence officials in the White House, one participant told The New York Times.

According to an intelligence source, Cheney sought to block the NIE’s release, but was overruled.

Vincent Cannistraro, the CIA’s former counterterrorism chief, believes the view expressed by Robert Gates, the defence secretary, and Condoleezza Rice, the secretary of state, was: “Whatever the intelligence shows, it shows – we won’t influence it, but it should be released.”

In an interview last week, Cheney conceded that “there was a general belief that we all shared that it was important to put it out – that it was not likely to stay classified for long, anyway.” He added, “Everything leaks”, a wry admission of the in-fighting that has divided the Bush administration.

I think you and the Russians are watching to much TV!

When was the last time the U.S. has ever seized any resources from another country. And you can not say Iraq. Where is the pattern of us taking from anyone? We defeat evil then we spend our treasury to help the rebuild that is what History shows!

Who cares what a bunch of koolaid drinkers believe!

This is the part that has irked me about this..

why should we be releasing classified information?

I could understand briefing congress,... ect...

but at this point we have told every one in the world how little or how much information was gathered...

and it's not that I don't think transperancy is bad,, in fact in most cases it is needed, but in this case releaseing this report,.. all it did was undermine our policy and assist Iran...

Thats probably how it should be- and only the Administration, Congress, and those that need to know get briefed on the "hows" this was obtained, and the deep details...And probably in a normal situation thats how it would be-- but with GW caught up in so many falsehoods, questionable activites, and distrusted by the right and the left of the country- the American people on a whole and the rest of the world don't trust him at all anymore and want some oversight on him...

And his actions/reactions on this - didn't help that credibility any either...His "DUH- Was I briefed?- I wasn't told that"----that soon changed to a spokesman "admitting he was told there was new info, but not what it was yet"- that changed now to "I was briefed-but not told if it was verifiable as to todays conditions"-- US Congress made the Director of National Intelligence position to be in charge of ALL US intelligence back after the failures of 9/11 were revealed--GW appointed McConnel to be the DNI...You would think that if the terrorist and Muslim threat is as great as GW fearmongers- and you neocons use for his excuse of dictator type acts--that he then as President of the United States would communicate daily- or at least weekly with this man finding out ever tidbit of info he could provide( especially anything new)--and wouldn't have to come up with these DUH answers that make the rest of the world wonder what Hillbilly mountain we found that dummy on..... :( :(
