First off why would someone who not that long ago paid almost a dollar fifty against the US dollar not look to use the now equal buying power ...I do not feel our dollars will remain at par forever...so if there is a opportunity to get into a market at not only a low point in a market but also when I can get into that market for equal or better price for my dollar....

Bear Stearns was rumored to be available at below $2.. it was just trading at.. $6.52...

sure wish I would have had my act together on Monday... :?

Wouldn't it make more sense to hire someone who at least knows what bobwire is?

DO YOU KNOW WHAT "BARBED" WIRE IS????????????? :lol: :lol: :lol:

fff knows what she is talking about...

http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Bobwire

Bobwire (often mispronounced barbed wire) is a special type of fencing material designed to subtly discourage trespassers by gouging out chunks of their flesh.

Origins

Bobwire was invented in 1835 by Georgia inventor Bob "Two-thumbs" McGinty, in order to stop imaginary elves from getting into his imaginary garden.

Construction

McGinty's original prototype (which is on display at the Smithsowhatian) consisted of fish-hooks wrapped around fencing wire. Other, more intelligent, people later improved upon the design by replacing the fish-hooks with the pointy metal bits we know today.

The specific details of bobwire construction are a highly classified and are much more complicated than just twisting together strands of wire and filing the ends until they're nice and sharp.

It might seem that simple, but it really isn't.

History

Despite McGinty's obvious insanity, his bobwire quickly became very popular among his neighbours, many of whom had real gardens that they were anxious to protect from the local children.

Bobwire quickly spread across most of the southern United States, eventually making its way to the western states, where it proved to be much more successful than the "No Cows Allowed" signs which had previously been used.

Originally invented to deter elves, bobwire can be effective against many illusory pests. (even neocons)

It was at this time that it began to be known by some as barbed wire, due to the fact that many people erroneously assumed that the name bobwire was merely the result of a very thick accent. These people were later soundly beaten with whifflebats, but even today it is often still referred to incorrectly (see also: chester drawers).

During World War II, the Germans had a team of scientists trying to develop their own version of bobwire technology, but due to the defection of Albert Einstein, they were unsuccessful and thus lost the war.

The Secret of Bobwire

Look, I already said, I can't tell you. I'd like to, but I can't.

Seriously. People have died over this, so just drop it, okay?

Fun Facts

* In Dutch, bobwire is called vervloekt scherp dat, which roughly translates as "Damn, that's sharp!"
* Most bobwire is used outdoors, however most bobwire accidents occur in the bathroom.
* There are more bobwire fences, per capita, in Wisconsin than in all of the Upper-East-side of New York City.
* If you took all of the bobwire in the world, and placed it end-to-end, you would very clearly have too much time on your hands.

Warnings

While bobwire has many uses, it should not be used as a substitute for any of the following items:

* belts
* dental floss
* roofing nails
* penguin feed
* bed linens
* the underwire in sports bras
* Kola's UNDERPANTS
And every one thought fff was just plain goofy.... :roll: :wink:
