Nice looking bulls, with beef in all the right places. I wish you lived closer so they could be checked out more easily.

Denny, they are nice!!!

Do they get a bath before sale day? :p

Good luck at your sale and thanks much for the 'preview.'

Yeah they'll get a bath. The syrup we've been feeding is some nasty sticky stuff they've been filthy since we started them on it.I have ran out now and moving some horse's out of here so we can get them out on some sand ground.

A little canola oil on that bit of tag and a pressure washer and they'll shine right up again. They look ready for some work-do you get them ultrasounded before the sale.

April 3rd we will be ultrasounding them.

They are plenty dirty thats for sure. They could have been bigger but I did'nt start them on any grain until Dec. 26th

1st 30 days 5#

2nd 30 days 7#s

3rd 30 days 9#s

4th 30 days they want them at 13 #s but I think thats way too much I will get a weight on them if they are close enough I'm not going to push them.

The ration has been 1/2 # soybean meal 1/2# of Mineral and the remainder in shell corn.Plus 19#s of corn distillars syrup which is 68% moisture and grass hay which tested 8% protein.

Cost $1.23 per day and they are gaining 3.1 #s average per day.Average cost per day from start to finish.

does it get too rough on them to pressure wash them?

I can see where it would be quicker. How much canola oil should a guy use?Do you soak them down a bit before than leave it for a bit?Pretty new to this so I am kinda slow :dunce:
