If 9-11 hadn't happened, we wouldn't be in Iraq. If we had finished it back in '90, we wouldn't be there either. If Iraq would have complied with the UN resolutions, we wouldn't be there either.

Now see there ' hoe', that didn't hurt one bit to actually make some sense did it??

Wanna know something really spooky....I agree with you that the biz should have been finished in '90...but then again another Bush fk-ed up the job at hand!!!!

Kolanuraven, Those three responses are common knowledge. I thought so anyway. More can be added (e.g. If Iraq hadn't invaded Kuwait in the first place..)

One request, Kolanuraven. Please understand what it is like to lose a family member on foreign soil. It is never for nothing. To many service men and women spilled their blood on foreign soil and came home to enough booing back in the 70's. We enjoy our freedoms and everyone who has ever served has contributed to this country being what it is.

The only emphasis I put on anything is what MY COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF told me and the rest of America, the day after 911--"we will not rest until the people responsible for this attack are captured or killed!" Well, guess what?! Another interesting all but forgotten little bush tidbit--when running for president against Gore, bush told then president Clinton, that by all means there needed to be a TIMETABLE for the WITHDRAWAL of ALL American forces from Kosovo. Funny how that works!!

I do not see anyone resting on looking for the people responsible for 911! Top Al Qaeda officials have been killed or captured numerous times. Just recently a top Al Qaeda members was killed and where was he? In Iraq! Just because we have not caught OBL does not mean we are not after him and his group.

"By the end of 2004, the U.S. government claimed that two-thirds of the top leaders of al-Qaeda from 2001 were in custody (including Ramzi bin al-Shibh, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Abu Zubaydah, Saif al Islam el Masry, and Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri) or dead (including Mohammed Atef). Despite the capture or death of many senior al-Qaeda operatives, the U.S. government continues to warn that the organization is not yet defeated, and battles between U.S. forces and al-Qaeda-related groups continue

I can not imagine how impossible it would be to find a person that is like a God to these people, and they hate the ones looking for him. It is going to take a major traitor withing OBL's organization for us to ever catch him.

How many years after WWII did it take to catch some of the Top ranking Nazi's? Have all of them wanted for war crimes even been caught to this day? The world is a big place and lots of places to hide.

As for Kosovo and pulling out. Kosovo is not the same as Iraq, it did not have the same dynamics and as much was not at stake. The world is a different place now than it was back then.

"Hoe" there are some here who make fun of the ones I've lost and what I do for the troops to date....but I've lost several in this war & a few back in '90.

I send package after package to the troops in Iraq & Afgh. to this day and will continue to do so. These ' care' packages go to people I don't even know...but come to know them. Ck out www.anysoldier.com

DO NOT, I repeat...DO NOT ever question my resolve to stand behind these young men and women...NEVER!

I just think that the so called Commander in Chief is an idiot and is responsible for each and every death. I hope he never sleeps at nite for many years!

I wouldn't question her resolve to stand behind these young men and women backhoeboogie, I'd question what she means by stand behind. If she thinks that by sending care packages to a few soldiers that absolves her from wrong doing in the area of running down the government her soldier buddies are fighting for, I'd think most of the U.S. military would rather her keep her goodie boxes and keep her mouth shut. If she thinks that sending them care packages over rides the negative effects that her spewing phrases similiar to jane fonda's give it up, you can't win type of a statement, I think the soldiers would rather her keep her goodies to herself.

OK...I'll quit buying for the one I buy some diapers for, I'll call the power company have them credit MY account for the power bill I just paid for a family of 6 locally here cause Daddy has been sent back on his 2nd tour and it's now been extended.

Let's see I'll make myself a note to be a A-hole like RR and put it right next to the phone!!!!

Make you happy!!!!

If you EVER get into a bad way, I hope you remember all this self righteous spewing you do here and I hope it will pay your bills.

once again KAKA is tooting her own horn to gain attention!!! make me wonder just what this person does all day except set around trying to figure out some way to make herself look good!
care packages, diapers! (probabally for her) note to be an A hole well that shouldn't be a problem and definatly does not need a note to remind her
KAKA if you were the only one to have lost any one in any war then you might, just might have a reason to get on a soap box but since you are not the only one to lose someone in ANY WAR stop blowing smoke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
war is he!! but you are a PAIN

Well RR ,you want me to quit helping out the families here

Why not continue to support our troops,...not only with "stuff" and money but with actual moral support for the great job they are doing?

why is it that libs always fail to see the harm in their words?

you seem unwilling to support their mission, yet very willing to cut off your financial support....
so much for your "Resolve"

but then again it's only words.....

I don't know Red Robin we really liked those goodies, those C rations got mighty old. There was a lady from Hawaii who sent us something like Kim Cee it really spiced up the Cs

I know they have different rations now.
