Yesterday, my hubby and I loaded up a dozen old cows and headed to Yankton. After weighing up our cows we realized that we needed to change our plans and go to Stockmans livestock instead of Cimpls.
It was a beautiful drive down and as we pulled into the stockman's driveway, I noticed a sculpture. So after we got unloaded we went and looked at the sculpture. It was a cowboy with his hat on, chinks, boots, the whole nine yards... He was squatting or sitting (I'm not sure.) And guess what he was doing????
He was working on a notebook computer........ This is the coolest sculpture I have seen for a long time...
And by the way. The people at Stockmans are the kindest people. After we had inquired about selling our cows, they asked if we had eaten and that they would see that the little resturant would get us something if we wanted it...
We talked to the owner and he said that him and his wife bought the place when it was all run down and had hardly any buisness. He said for the first 3 years he didn't know how they ever made it... A very humble man who appreciated you wether you had 10 cows or 1000.
Was a fun day for us.......
