Tucker Carlson was hosting Hannity and just said the CBO came out with the cost to US tax payer per Stimulus job. The cost was over $228,000 per job. The Dem on the panel Michael Brown said he figured the US should thank Obama for everything he did to save the US economy with the Stimulus money.

But CBO just released its latest report yesterday, with a slightly lower number of jobs supposedly "created or saved" than the previous report, and a slightly higher price tag ($821 billion). When you do the math, as they did at CNS News, you find that every stimulus job cost a lot of money, even if you accept the CBO assumptions at face value:

[T]he $821 billion cost of the stimulus divided by the maximum of 3.6 million jobs the CBO believes the stimulus may have saved or created equals an average of $228,055 per job.

At the lower end of the CBO’s top job-creating-and-saving estimate for the stimulus—1.4 million jobs—the jobs would cost an average of $586,428 a piece.

Thank him  for what running up the national debt for a 10% unemployment rate, record foreclosures, and Governors sueing the Feds to protect their States from Bankrupcy. YES everyone should THANK OBAMA. My gawd when will these Dems learn you can not spend yourself out of debt. And when will they look at the facts and stop defending Obama's failing agenda?

if most of the jobs touted are in the infrastructure portion of the bill.. (which was a small portion of the overall bill, imagine the real number if the whole bill had not been a democrat orgy of waste and had actually fixed something with the money ?
