You might have noticed that BMR has been away for a few days. I thought you would like to know he is fine but he is in Regina with his parents. His Mom fell on the 23rd and broke her hip. She has been in the hospital waiting for surgery. She was told that they are going to replace her hip today. So please say a prayer for her speedy recovery.

:agree: Lots of prayers from this family. My mother had her hip replaced early this year and is doing very well with it. She's had several surgeries in her lifetime and she said this was the easiest surgery she ever went through. That was in Oregon, I hope you guys have good "surgical care".

MIL had her hip replaced 3 years ago, luckily she didn't break it first. She has never looked back from that operation.

Pass our Best Wishes along too Tam.

Our prayers are with your mom, Big Muddy, and with your dad, and all the rest of your family, too. Praying for a speedy recovery and for guidance along the way.

I've known two elderly people that fell and broke hips picking dandelions. I think dandelions are beautiful little flowers. One of my most inspiring moments was in the fall of 1971. There had been more than one snowstorm up in the Teton Wilderness Area of Wyoming where I was working as a mule/horse packer for a hunting camp. Leading a packstring down the trail one nice warm Indian Summer day, there was a dandelion growing right up out of some remaining snow. It kind of gave me a sense of God's presense.

Thank you all for the prayers I just spoke to BMR and he and his dad are coming home tonight and are planning to go back in the morning after a good nights rest. This could get to be a long ordeal for a lady that gets confused eazily. Thanks Again.

We wish her a speedy recovery and an even shorter stay away from her home. The security and familiarity of "home and family" works miracles.
