I was just wondering what you thought about the calendar idea? Waiting to see if you wanted to participate in it, or give someone the go ahead to use the ranchers.net "stamp of approval". If you were not interested, nor had the time, maybe someone would want to take the project over.

The other day as I was prowling around everything came together just right, and I got one of my favorite photos. I debated saving it for the calendar contest, if we have one, but I liked it so much I wanted to share.

Are you trying to steal my photo Mike??? lol.

Thanks. I asked jersey lilly to do the same for me, and I very much appreciated it, but it made the snow look bluish to me. So I posted the one I took, but I have the one she did for me too. I had some copies made on photo paper yesterday, and they were not as dark as the picture I posted here. :?

Already did! I wouldn't worry about the blue tint. It's the reflection from the sky.....same as a water/lake picture.

In fact, a lot of photographers use a blue filter just to get that effect.

I could change it to red if you like!!!!

Heck with the picture-- send me the cow-- nice big old body on her- with not much room under her belly....The way I like them...

Be a good ad picture for the angus folks- live anywhere- eat anything- in any weather and range conditions and still come out looking good

Tap I take all the compliments I can get, cause they're far and few. Like OT I like the cow.

Angus Guy, To heck with the cow.

Don't tell Tap, but I like the photo a lot!

I've already copyrighted it and had one framed!

That is really a nice picture, Tap. I can see why it is a favorite for all of us. It should be on the cover of some cattle publication, or maybe hanging in a prominent position in a bank or feed store. Great photography.

I agree with soapweed...that is truly a great shot! Any Bank should be proud to show off that picture...at least in cattle country...not sure if they would see the beauty of it in New York..lol

I really like that picture too, Tap.

I nominate it to go on the calendar.

Since I work with printing jobs, I can find out how much
it would cost to do a color calendar and how to get the photos
to the printers so they will reprint the best. There really
is quite a bit to this.

Now here is the question. Who is going to pay for the calendars
until ranchers.net members get them all sold?

And who is going to gather up the money?

We could sell ads on the calendars to help pay for them.

OKKKKKKKKKK, ready for some answers...

Details, details...
