Acting attorney general declares Justice Department won't defend Trump's immigration order

Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, a Democratic appointee, directed Justice Department attorneys not to defend President Donald Trump's controversial executive refugee and immigration ban, declaring Monday that she was not convinced that the order was lawful.

"They should either get with the program or they can go," Spicer said.

might be a good "Test" of who is a far left liberal or not..

The Senate needs to stay in DC and do their friggin jobs and get Trump's Administration confirmed. The last weekend running off to Philly for a RETREAT just wasted time. Sessions needs to be confirmed as does Tillerson. For every day Trump goes without his team the bigger risk the US is in. If the Dems hold up these nominees for political reasons and something happens to National Security they should all be replaced. Obama got his team even when the nominee for Treasury was a tax cheat. Yea he was the smartest person and just what the US needed, just look at the National debt.

The Republican Senators should be ashamed of themselves for allowing the confirmations to go on so long. Thanks to Reid we all know the Repubs. have the votes to get everyone through without a single Dem vote so are the Good Senators making gimme pork deals to buy their support for Trump's cabinet? I would not put it pass Graham and McCain that seem to think they have to push back on Trump to get their names in the news and make themselves look relevant. McCain lost the election in 2008 but he still thinks he should run the government and Graham lost in the primaries proving nationwide Republican's didn't care for him either. Those two are a great example to why the US needs TERM LIMITS.

Temporarily replaced. Still waiting for Jeff Sessions to be confirmed.

What a crock that he has yet to be confirmed.

I imagine that they don't have all the necessary votes yet. Which as Tam points out, is likely Ms.Lindsey and the Dem McSame throwing a tantrum about real conservative actions occurring.

Both are Soros puppets.

As Sen. John McCain assumes the GOP front-runner mantle, his long-standing, but little-noticed association with donors such as George Soros and Teresa Heinz Kerry is receiving new attention among his Republican critics.

In 2001, McCain founded the Alexandria, Va.-based Reform Institute as a vehicle to receive funding from George Soros’ Open Society Institute and Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Tides Foundation and several other prominent non-profit organizations.

McCain used the institute to promote his political agenda and provide compensation to key campaign operatives between elections.

In 2006, the Arizona senator was forced to sever his formal ties with the Reform Institute after a controversial $200,000 contribution from Cablevision came to light. McCain solicited the donation for the Reform Institute using his membership on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. In a letter to the Federal Communications Commission, he supported Cablevision’s push to introduce the more profitable al la carte pricing, rather than packages of TV programming.

Yet, the Reform Institute still employs the McCain campaign’s Hispanic outreach director, Juan Hernandez, as a senior fellow of its Comprehensive Immigration Reform Initiative.

As WND reported, Hernandez serves as a non-paid volunteer for the McCain campaign. A dual Mexican-U.S. citizen, he was a member of former President Vicente Fox’s cabinet, representing an estimate 24 million Mexicans living abroad. Hernandez, with a “Mexico first” message, has argued aggressively against building a fence on the Mexican border, insisting the frontier needed to remain wide open so illegal immigrants could easily enter the U.S.
