Your opinion of this colt.

I dont remember, what i was doing with him in the last picture,I been going real slow with him,he is not a real spooky horse but he is a 2+ year old.....nuff said, and you are right about one thing,he dont miss much.
good luck

PS talk to you tommorow, bout time for an ole man to head upstairs .

For what I like to do with horses...them not missing things earns them an extra gold star in my book....as long as when they don't miss the spooky old car in the trees or the pheasent that pops out of the ground 5 feet away they have enough brains not to pitch a fit...a step or two sideways when a bird pops out of the ground right under their nose ....O.K. I can deal with that....one that gets ta running sideways at 70 mph and tosses a buck or two in for good luck can just keep on a running til it finds a new home.....lol

Yup,I dont mind a little crow hoppin on a frosty morning bout daybreak, but I think this little gray horse will be alright, just never been handled much,he is coming along pretty good, vet said keep him moving a little so he will drain good,so I been walkin him in the mornings, start light riding in the evenings pretty soon,he's gettin plenty to eat and got him on a good vitamin/mineral supplement,I want him to be all he can be.
good luck

PS Post a picture of some of your horses, always like to talk cattle, horses and weather.

hehehe be careful of what you ask for......
I love to take pics! I'll have to look through what I have here and see about taking a few more of my filly before she shags up to much more and looks like a wolly mammoth.

(I can't figure out how to get the sentence in a box) :(

Anyhow, Good for you, haymaker.

Sometimes people try and starve colts
so they can sneak a ride on them...glad you aren't of that making.

BTW, I really do like him. He's gonna be powerful in the rear end.

:P From one old fart to another, Look at the bright side; Your not on your back lookin into the sun if this is truley his first saddelin.
His eyes and ears are where they should be,(eyes bright, and a good distance apart--ears on you, waitin for your directions) he,s got a good back. He,s a little low at the wither, that "A" fork, may not be the saddel, unless your a workin cowman. I judge you at 6 feet, him about 14-3 hands, not a bad match for pusshin cows.

Well you have a good eye and horse sense, nice to have your input..................good luck

PS Welcome to ranchersnet.

I'm fine. You wouldn't think COOKING would be hard on you
mentally, now would you???????

Meeting lots of interesting people, and not getting much sleep.
Hard on a ole girl. :P

It would help if I had tv, internet or SOMETHING.
But I'll make it. I think the 14th is my last day. Can't help
looking forward to it.

The hunters are having great luck. I'll post pictures when I get
back to civilization. The weather is turning now--snowing
a wet snow tonight. Supposed to last til Sunday...

Thanks for asking. :)
