I didn't think you could buy guns online. ??? You can buy gun parts, but I was under the impression that you couldn't buy a whole intact gun.

Ya know......fillin out all that paperwork when you buy one...etc...can't do that online. Maybe that's just handguns. I dunno. ???

Jigs, GunBroker.com is one of the best I've ever seen. They're set up like an internet auction, but always offer a lot of "Buy Now" options from dealers. They have both new and used and really have a great handgun section. I've never bought anything through them, though. I just use them for shopping and comparison.

I checked them on the model that you're interested in and they only have one listed and it's a new one:

Buy it now for $272 + $25 shipping.

This one happens to be from Bud's and that would have been my second suggestion. They've always got some of the best prices that I've seen.

JL, those deals work by shipping dealer to dealer. You have to find an FFL dealer near you to do the transfer and then the dealer that you buy from ships it directly to that dealer. You do your paperwork with the local dealer, so finding one of those that will do the transfer is the first step. Gunbroker has a link to help find dealers near you.

Most dealers around here charge $20-30 dollars to do the transfer and they also have to charge you the sales tax on the entire purchase. Many of them will do it free or discounted for law enforcement or military.

I've found that by the time I pay the shipping and transfer, I can usually buy something just as cheap from a local dealer. Buying online just gives you a lot better selection.
