You know there are some scary looking people that wear cowboy hats out there too. If you don't believe me you didn't see that picture of Texan in another thread.
You just can't get my picture out of your mind, can you? Anyway, if you had sense enough to carry a gun, you wouldn't have to be scared of nuthin'.

  Even Kolan is smart enough to carry a gun, but I must admit a liberal with a gun is kind of scary. I don't have much trust in their since of reasoning.

I could see them shooting some innocent little old lady with a purse because someone yelled purse snatcher and they thought it politically incorrect to shoot the guy with the mo hawk hair, pierced nose and gang tats running away with a purse in his hand and knife in the other.

I think you are completely generalizing the "youth" of this country unfairly. My first inclination is that your own family has lot's of problems and you are trying to blame the "liberal media" for it. I think you need to grow up and read your bible a little more closely.

Please forward them scriptures you feel I should be reading?

Or maybe you meant Proverbs 13:20?

"He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed".
How about

Do Not Judge, and you will not be judged.....LUKE 6:37,38

Or
Encourage one another and build up each other1 Thessalonians 5:6-11

MY wife has a nephew that lives in St. Louis with a stepson with tatoos, pierceing, crazy hair and ear things that strech a circle in your ear lobe.

He works for a company that pays him big bucks because he delivers. They couldn't care less what he looks like. He also has a wife and three children and they adore him. You would never guess it if you seen him walking down the street. He is a really nice fellow and very smart ( probably what that company likes about him)

Remember the 50's- and the 60's/70's- first with the beatniks and then the hippies- and how the older folks just about had kittens how this younger generation would be the end of all time....Elvis, Rock and Roll, The Beatles, the Twist--all those evils...
Now that generation is grandparents- that are the Doctors, Lawyers, Business owners...One was even President.....Many retired or preparing to retire- and turn it over to the next generation-- that will do just fine...

I agree we should not be judging people rather they are worthy to be Christains, rather they are good Christains etc.......But the Judging Jesus was talking about is totally different than say passing judgement on who we should associate with or more importantly who our children should associate with.

There is plenty of examples in the bible that show we should guard our association and specifically our children's association. To do this we have got to Judge others, not to the worthiness of Gods message but as to rather they are good association for our family to be around.

If we are not suppose to make judgements on people for any reason then please explain

Romans 16:17 "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and [/b]avoid them".

There is some confusion in the bible if you only look at one specific scripture and base your whole outlook on it. You have to know what and why the writer is speaking of, as in the case of Jesus talking in Luke.

There is times for making Judgement calls, but never a place for passing Judgement. The Bible substantiates this with many examples like the one above.

OT surely you have been around enough to see that each generation has out rebelled the previous one and it is catching up to us.

There is a big difference in what the youth today are into and what they were in Elvis's day.

Besides how many Mothers and fathers lost their children to acid trips that those hippies they associated with got them involved with.

You are looking at only the survivors not the fallen. I do not want to take a chance that my children are one of the lucky ones that live through bad association.

They will make enough mistakes if I keep them on the path of less danger than if I throw them to the wolves and assume all people are good and all association is OK.

I think it is an irresponsible parent that lets their kid associate with any and everyone just because they want to be politically correct.

There are bad people out there in this world and it is best we recognize this for our and our kids sake! Not all people are good that is reality!

Actually I disagree... I don't think that.... I think each generation has its way of "rebelling"- whether it was the "flappers" of the 20's or the tattoo craze of today...

I was wilder than my kids ever were-- and my kids weren't angels....The only reason I went to High School and College was the party's, rodeo, and the wimmen...Even quit high school once- but a Guidance Counseler (ex-marine drill instructor) drug me back into the school kicking me in the rear every step of the way...

What I do believe is changing is some of the accepted standards- which have been since cave man days- and many times goes in cycles....Right now they are going more liberal and tolerant- but may eventually be back to the days of the inquisition or the puritans....

Didnt Jesus have long hair,a long beard and wear sandels?now what did hippies look like?.........

You tell me?

1 Cor 11: 14-15

14Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

You need to quit believing everything you see, Jesus was not white either, he was Jewish he would have been darker skinned. Many also do not believe he would have been frail and weak as he is depicted.

are you asking a question?

You asked rather Jesus had long hair, I am showing the answer from the bible itself. I am trying to teach you to fish, instead of just feeding you.

But in simpler terms I am asking you rather Jesus had long hair or not based on the scripture I have showed you above? Yes or No?

I hosted a sex party last night that included lots of booze and lots of meth, we played guitar hero until 10:00 PM and then all had to go home to get up in the morning for their jobs. At the door we handed out morning after pills and a small bag of Vigortone mineral to get rid of the hangovers. And you say youth aren't responsible.

.

I know you meant this to be just plain snotty & mean.....but it's sooooo funny!!
