You've Finally Done It Hypocrit

Nothing like a calculated plan that comes together, based on basic human nature.

Watching people define themselves and their beliefs(with a little direction/manipulating of course), and then place a "Label" on them.

So now we have the polarization of the political spectrum like never before, where do we go from here?

Which end do we call evil and which one is good?

And the games being played right now are dangerous.

You can call me a conspiracist if you want. I truly hope that the reasons some of this is going on is not planned.

Let's look at an example of what is going on and how it has worked in the past.

Wealthy Farmers demonized, peasants promised their land, peasants (farming experts, no doubt) start managing farms, famine and eventually the government takes over ownership of farms and everybody works for them.

Need a more recent example that is still being played out?

Wealthy GM executives demonized, bankruptcy, union maybe takes over?, Union mismanges company, government takes over, and the autoworkers are now government employees.

Banks?

opinions?

CNN says Fox is a “rightwing conservative network?”

How “rightwing” could Fox be if it gets more viewers than CNN, MSNBC, CNBC and Headline News — combined?

Based on those numbers, who are the centrists and who are the extremists?

Compare and contrast that mainstream media coverage with that afforded Cindy Sheehan and her cohorts at the radical antiwar group Code Pink. Cindy Sheehan’s protests near President Bush’s Crawford, Texas ranch drew but a few dozen protesters.

These tiny gatherings garnered more than a hundred mentions in The New York Times and “reporting” that could have been mistaken for a Code Pink infomercial.

How one 48-year-old woman from Vacaville, Calif., invigorated the antiwar movement, altered the landscape of the president’s vacation town and drew a Hollywood celebrity out into the Texas heat may be as much the result of external factors as Ms. Sheehan’s compelling tale.

More compelling than spontaneous anti-tax protests that marshaled hundreds of thousands? Apparently.

The media sickness is epidemic. Fortunately, it also appears to be terminal.

I watch Fox because it's a freakshow. And I think it's a good idea to try to understand how radicals think. Perhaps that explains alot of Fox's numbers

ACORN will probably be asking which news you watch (Fox or CNN), for the next census.

Then DHS will have a complete list of the Republicans to target! :D

Just explains that you are an ignorant, leftwing radical. No news network gives voice to BOTH SIDES of political issues like Fox. The mainstream media is working to manipulate public opinion through editorial bias...which was very evident in coverage of these protest. Even if Fox was totally conservative in their editorial bias, they would merely be balance to the rest of the main stream media.
It is leftwing radicals that want and do censor free speech!

Less than a year ago, it was patriotic to protest against the Bush administration.
Today, those that disagree with the Obama administration are portrayed as extremist that should be investigated by Homeland Security.
These are the ideological positions being pushed by the mainstream media...which should concern everyone!!!!

You're on a roll today Silver. Once again I agree!

We'll you two need to get busy. This right wing is completely full and I want out on the tip. Can't get there from here. People are standing in a long line to get on this wing now. You'd better start talking to them quick.

Problem is these liberals are ignorant to what is really news and what is a political show. They think O'Reilly or Hannity are the Fox News so they call them slanted. When in reality they are just entertainment shows on the channel just like liberal channels also have.

They do not compare Apples to Oranges and just look at the Fox Evening News and compare that to the other News shows on Liberal channels at same times.

Just explains that you are an ignorant, leftwing radical.

Then you would be wrong. But there you go again making assumptions, and you know what happens when you assume. :D You have to remember that YOU are a radical, that's why you find yourself labeling everone that doesn't agree with your opinions. You should try spending a little more time wondering why it is you feel the need to force your agenda down everyones throat that doesn't completely agree with you on every point.

The fact that you ignored the rest of my post proves my point...can you disprove any of it????
I don't care that you are liberal(if that is what you are), I want people to recognize that a biased, ideological news media is dangerous to freedom and liberty.

Can you disprove it? We could dance around that forever, frankly I'm not interested.
You call me a liberal.... well, I'm not that transparent and you're obviously not that perceptive.
As far as biased, ideological news media goes, I haven't seen an American news channel that wasn't (at least the ones I have seen). They have all become dangerous in my opinion (for what it's worth).

reader, I have liberal friends that think all news media are owned by fat cat conservatives.

Proof for me is simple...here is a list of liberal commentators that are part of Fox News.

Geraldo Rivera
Dr. Marc Lamont Hill
Juan Williams , NPR
Alan Combs
Kirsten Powers
Bob Beckel
Ellis Henican

Let's see the list the two of you can come up with of conservative commentators regularly on and paid by main stream media(not merely guest).

I don't care if you agree with Fox, but it is an outright lie to claim that they are more biased and ideological than mainstream media. Almost 90% of the mainstream media are admitted Democrats...how can that be "fair and balanced"??? They prove their bias everyday...it was blatantly obvious Wed. and throughout the Obama campaign.
