Rasmussen was on Fox on the Weekend and he was saying that Obama's approval rating is now below what both Bush's ratings were at this same time in they first term. Remember GW Bush enter office with a court ruling so what does that say for Obama's ratings.

All the hipe about how loved Obama is, is just that Hipe as he is not higher than other presidents in they honeymoon period. And his disapproval rating well they speak for themselves as does the reaction of the DOW since he took office.

BTW I heard this morning Tim Giethner's NY house in on the market but better act fast if you are interested as the second part of the report was that there is a poll on how long Tim Geithner will be Sec of Treasury. So far 20% say one year. I'm going with 6 months and he will be under the bus so he might want to hold on to that house.

You can bet that the big 0 will try to suppress this poll and MSNBC will be there to help him out.
with 24,301 votes so far, what grade do you give Obama for his first 100 days,
F 49%
d 11%
c 4.8%
b 6.6 %
A 29%

on Fox, what grade would you give Obama today?
F 54%
D 7%

Gee, how come all of these polls say he has a high approval rating when 24,000 voters give him a 50% F?

I wonder what the majority think of Obama's action on INSULTING the UK with the treatment of their PM? No formal press conference, No formal Dinner in his honor when Obama is known for the expensive dinners he has thrown since taking office. Then you have the return of a gift from the UK and presenting Brown with Walmart special gifts.

I hear the US media is getting blasted but the UK media for not speaking up about the treatment Brown got while at the White House. And rightly so as ask yourself what would have happened if Bush had insulted the UK PM in this way? :?

The State Department comment in the UK paper about the "UK not being any more important than any of the other 190 countries the US has to deal with" did not go over very well either.

INSULT ON TOP OF INSULT. Some on TV said this showed a sign of INCOMPETENCE  Obama and his Administration are incompetent No tell me it isn't so

Glenn Beck was asking on his show today for the US citizens to write to the British Embassy in Washington and apologize for Obama's insulting actions so maybe those actions would not permanently harm the UK/US friendship.

Where'd you get this one, OT? From one of the liberal blogs you frequent?

What does the "MS" stand for in MSNBC? GE also has a stake in them!

Feb. 6 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama and former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker today named an advisory board drawn from business, labor groups and former government officials to provide an outside perspective on plans to revive the economy.

Obama this morning signed an executive order establishing the Economic Recovery Advisory Board, which will be headed by Volcker. The members include former Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman William Donaldson, former Fed Vice Chairman Roger Ferguson, UBS Americas Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert Wolf, General Electric Co. CEO Jeffrey Immelt and Service Employees International Union Secretary-Treasurer Anna Burger, the administration announced.

Microsoft urged the government to "remove caps that bar entry into the U.S. by high-skilled immigrants," about three weeks before announcing its first companywide layoff, according to a report in BusinessWeek.

I was talking to a guy last week about President Obama's approval rating and he assured me that it would NEVER go under 45%. This guy is pretty smart, pretty well-off, and VERY conservative, so I was a little surprised when he said that. I asked him how he figured that, and he replied:

His approval rating will never go under 45% because 15% of the people that they poll will be the welfare deadbeats that will always think he's wonderful. They'll never know how bad he screws up and don't care as long as they get their check.

Another 15% will be the hardcore Democrats/liberals that will always think he's wonderful - no matter what he screws up.

And there will always be at least 15% of the so-called 'swing voters' polled in the surveys. The ones that helped get him in office. The ones who claim to be independents and will never have the balls to admit that they were fools and never have the integrity to admit that THEY screwed up.

Hmmmm....

Hmmmm....

In effect then the only way to get below 45% would be a "polling era" (picking the wrong folks to poll).
