Zero Tolerance

I'm fed up with "zero tolerance" and its litter-mate, "political correctness".
It's the reason the "bullying problem" headlines in the news because fighting for yourself is inexcusable under the system. A school kid gets a criminal record for defending himself.
The corner of a red bandanna sticking out of your pocket gets you in trouble for displaying "gang colors". ETC...etc.

Back in WWII "Zero" tolerence meant you just shot down a Japanese fighter plane. I think the fellow in the poster would have had Zero tolerence.

when common sense is lacking in a society, they have to rely on the law and government to deal with trivial issues. and as this happens the society de-volves.. proving it was wrong and not fit to survive..

It's as ridiculous as the recent case where the little girl's grandmother sent a knife to cut a birthday cake — which the teacher used to serve the cake before the girl was sent to the office and subsequently suspended.
