Zimmerman trial: Why not toss in J-walking?

The prosecution rebuttal also moved the burden of the case over to the defense.

The defense has already applied for 6 sanctions against the prosecution for misdeeds against the defense. Unheard of.

Greta pointed out tonight the Prosecutor mislead the jury in his closing remarks today by lying about what Zimmerman said to a neighbor and then to the police about SHOOTING Trayvon. In trying to prove Zimmerman was LYING, He told the jury that Zimmerman told the neighbor to tell his wife he had killed Trayvon, then Zimmerman told the police he didn't know he was dead. But the neighbor's testimony was Zimmerman told him to tell his wife he had shot him and he then told the police he didn't know that Trayvon was dead. In the Prosecutor's mind he lied but the testimony from the neighbor said NOTHING ABOUT KILLING HIM
If the Prosecutor would mislead the jury on what was testified to, to try prove his weak case then what else is he willing to "MISLEAD" them about?

Racism, guilt, size and physical strength of the deceased, the allegations he is being tried for, following a suspicious person is an attack, T-dogs girlfriend has colorful language, but the dependent has a potty mouth, the girlfriend isn't misinformed or incorrect or ignorant, she just isn't highly educated, lack of injuries to the deceased does not support he was the one being violent... I only watched 5 minutes of closing arguments so I'm sure I missed several others.

The racism was brought into the trial but funny how the Prosecutor skips right over the fact it was Trayvon with his Creepy Azz Cracker comment. They claimed Zimmerman had racist hate in his heart when he followed Trayvon but doesn't Trayvon's own comment prove he might have had a bit of RACIST HATRED when he turned around and ATTACKED ZIMMERMAN out of the dark. It was explained the law says following a person is not illegal or give you the right to turn around and beat the crap out of a person, so if Trayvon had not died that night he could have been charged with 2 counts of assault.

And to claim Trayvon was an INNOCENT UNARMED KID is beyond belief when he was much larger than Zimmerman and by testimony much strong AND he was the one sitting on top cracking Zimmerman's head into the friggin sidewalk. I was glad to see O'Mara carry a piece of concrete into the courtroom and explain to the jury that Trayvon used the sidewalk as a weapon so to say he was unarmed was a LIE. He didn't need a gun to be armed as he had his much larger fists and the sidewalk that according to the expert witnesses Trayvon could have easily killed Zimmerman with as little as single blow to that CONCRETE SIDEWALK.

And the fact the Defense proved Trayvon had 4 minutes to go home but chose to turn around and attack Zimmerman put him as the aggressor and Zimmerman the victim. If he had taken that 4 minutes to run home if he was actually the SCARED LITTLE KID the Prosecutor and family want to paint him as , he would have been alive but that YOUNG MAN made the decision to confront/attack a guy that had a gun. It was a horrible event but TRAYVON WAS NOT INNOCENT WITH HE MADE THE DECISION TO ATTACK ZIMMERMAN.

Watching this trial and not being a lawyer I have to wonder if the Defense Team, if Zimmerman is found guilty, would not have a good case for appeal in just the way the Judge ruled on this trial. She would not allow evidence on Trayvon's past and the truth about a troubled teen that might have proved he had a problem that his family was ignoring as they wanted to preserve his childhood innocent they tried to portray in the pictures they released to the media. They claimed it was about the events of that night but she allowed in the fact Zimmerman tried to become a cop but was turned down. She allowed all the calls that Zimmerman made to the cops but what did they have to do with Trayvon ATTACKING ZIMMERMAN and Zimmerman's frame of mind while a larger person was sitting on him and beating him. NOTHING but they were let in to tarnish Zimmerman as an over zealous wannabe cop in the eyes of the jury but never mind the CHILD was a wannabe gangbanger with a record with the cops do to his ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR including drug use and burglary tools, and stories of guns and violence in HIS text messages.

One More thing I find it funny that to a liberal a young girl at the age of 14 and even younger can, without parent knowledge, KILL their unborn child but this 17 year old MAN is totally innocent due to HIS AGE. It is also funny how he is innocent due to HIS AGE but if that same prosecutor had Trayvon in court charging him with assault of Zimmerman, he would be asking to have him tried as an ADULT due to his age.

You could see the judge was in the bag and if it is left up to her to sentence Zimmerman she is going to through the book at him just in the way she questioned him about testifying and objected to the lawyers objections of her questioning their client.

I guessing the POLITICAL PRESSURES of this case have reached her office and I hope those same POLITICAL PRESSURES from the DOJ and the Oval Office don't reach the jury room or Zimmerman will never see the light of day again.

A New York Lawyer was just on and was talking about the closing remarks of the Zimmerman trial and he said when a Prosecutor has evidence he yells about the evidence when he has FACTS is yells about his evidence but when he has nothing he just yells and that is exactly what the Prosecutor was doing.

They were loud and dramatic in their closing and rebuttal but they were pushing the use of the juries heart and common sense as they had no facts to back up the STORY they were trying to sell with their yelling. Saying things loud and boisterous does not make them true. They can yell dozens of times Trayvon was a UNARMED CHILD but the cardboard cut outs of Trayvon and Zimmerman that the Defense used proved TRAYVON was the larger one and from the testimony was by far the stronger. AND the concrete chunk that the Defense carried in and set on the floor in front of the jury box with the comment "That is not an UNARMED teenager with a bag of skittles" was very telling that Trayvon used the environment around him to arm himself with something that could inflict bodily harm and even DEATH to Zimmerman. And even with all the comments about "well the scratches on the back of his head and broken nose did not give him the right to shoot the CHILD", the Prosecution did nothing to refute the Use of Force Expert that said Zimmerman was in a situation the demonstrated an example of BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT TO USE OF FORCE TO PROTECT YOUR LIFE.

The fact that that scared little "CHILD" did not use the 4 missing minutes to GO HOME proved he turned from being the hunted into the HUNTER, and Zimmerman's nose and head proved he turned from the victim into the AGRESSOR in a single punch to Zimmerman's face.

Brandy Green: He don't know anybody here. He just came down here. He was bored. So he walked to the store. He was on his way back home. I'm living down here. He was sitting out on the porch. And this man killed him? Are you serious?

Tracy Martin: I don't know the exact path he took, but he did come in that back gate. And I know he was going to the back of the house. He was sitting out there.

"He walked out of the house to go to the store. He was going to the store," she said. "He doesn't know anybody here. He just came down here, so he was bored, so he walked down to the store. He was on his way back home. I'm living down here. He was sitting on the porch and this man killed him."

to get to an assumption that George did what the prosecutors claim,... you have to make a bunch of assumptions... and ignore the facts..

This has baffled the police investigating the case as well. They couldn’t figure out why Trayvon didn’t simply go to Brandy Green’s if he felt threatened, especially when he was so close. All reports had indicated he was heading that direction.

here is another take on the missing time..
http://www.wagist.com/2012/dan-linehan/the-missing-230-and-deedees-testimony

one I had not heard of yet.. that fills in some of the two minutes...

Serino said: “He told me Zimmerman’s story was that Zimmerman was of course following him and that Trayvon approached his vehicle, walked up to the car and asked Zimmerman, ‘Why are your following me?’ Zimmerman then rolls his car windows down, tells Trayvon ‘I’m not following you.’ He rolls his car windows up.

Conclusions

The possibility that there was not just one, but two confrontations does help explain several things.

For one, why DeeDee’s testimony has seemed so confusing at times — she’s not relaying just one interaction Martin had with Zimmerman like most of us assumed, she’s bringing up two separate encounters she listened to, spaced only around a minute apart.

This description of events seems to be exactly what Zimmerman has been telling police since the beginning, since it’s essentially how the police described the incident to Tracy Martin the next day.

Trayvon still seems to have doubled back towards Zimmerman after he first started running at 7:11, but he went on to initially confront Zimmerman at his truck, rather than point [F].

None of this can tell us for sure how the fight began or who initiated physical contact.

Since it seems like Zimmerman’s main goal was to stay in touch the with police throughout the evening, it still seems unlikely that he would intentionally start any physical altercation knowing that they were on their way.

That being said, Zimmerman definitely missed an opportunity to identify himself at his truck, which potentially could have helped to de-escalate the situation.

but with all the muddled crap from the prosecutor rev al and the family shyster,.. we may never know....
