That is interesting, OT...........thanks for sharing! I found out that we have an above average # of married couples here (72.4%) but below average on a number of other things, such as education (high school or above was 77.3%, bachelors or higher was 13.3%), unemployment (6.9%) and below poverty line (30.1%). Median household income is only $23,000. Those aren't so good........

It also gave more population than we thought (according to 2000 census) at 246 for the zip code, and we have a density of 0.67 people per square mile of land........got some elbow room, in places, anyway. There are 208 housing units (not sure where they came up with that one, maybe counted all the vacant casas in town) and 54.5% of people still live in the same home they did 5 years ago.........like that was a surprise of any kind.....

Live and learn!

The list Midland, SD as having 599 population. I know that as of 2000 census, it was less than 250, probably less than 200. Percentage of highschool grads has been very high, very close to 100% of those who start, for at least 50 years that I know of, so that was off, too. Hope all the info isn't that unreliable! Or that people understand it is more for fun than factual information.
