Thanks for the help. Talked to one guy who said to use a large spring inline so it would have some give. I am a long way from anything as well, wondering maybee about single strand barbed wire, would be strong and cheap.
Was wondering if anyone has ever tried 1/16 galvanized cable for hot wire. Had alot of trouble with wildlife breaking the wire last year while bale grazing. Any and all imput is appreciated.
Going to try some bale gazing this winter. When setting it up how many days worth of feed seems to be the best? Also how far apart should the bales be placed?
thanks for the imput. Conditions and seed vary so much area to area it is interesting to see what people do. I think i am going to seed oats first then roll the field then drill in the grass alhp. mix. hope it works!
What is the preferred method out there? We have great moisture here and plan on converting more farm land. We have used a small press drill before, has anyone tried a rotary harrow. how about a cover crop? Any imput is appreciated! :D
I don't know if that is a good thing or not! I think that one of my cousins has been hunting at your place before. He is an engineer with Sask Power but don't hold that agains't him he's a good guy. :D
