Annual local fall yearling sale was held on the 9th. 1247 head on offer. Yearlings, calves and cull bulls and cows. Large assortment of good looking yearlings. Uncle sold 27 head. Batch of 14 growthy March yearling Gelbvieh x Red Angus steers at 1003 lbs went for $1.1025/lb (grossing over $1100 a head). We took in 15 head and a group of 3 September yearling steers at 683 lbs went for $1.2150. Most yearlings, regardless of weight or sex were in the $1.05 to $1.25 range. Calves were lower, but still above a $1.00/lb. Cows and bulls went from .15-.51/lb.
