Who pays for wolf depradation if delisted?

I'd like to reply to the original few messages on this line - who pays for wolf control and the depredation they cause? Happy - I still think you are on the wrong forum. You've got a big stick, and you are just here to stir the sh--. You might have read some about wolf introduction, but you...

Not protect wolves? We should be so lucky.

I should also mention that the FWS themselves said the rest of Wyoming (outside the national parks and wilderness areas) is "undesirable" for wolves. It's time we hold them accountable!

Not protect wolves? We should be so lucky.

Wolves are offered protection under Wyoming's Wolf Management Plan. Again, they are listed as trophy game animals in wilderness areas - that is protection. The FWS own wolf experts and scientists said Wyoming's plan would work to support the population. I'm not as naive as you think. I know...

    Looking for gooseneck hitch advice

We have a Diamond Hitch from Renegade Mfg. and we like it great. They are good people to work with, and we like the product. Several people we know have them, and I've heard nothing but good things. They also have some other neat products!

    premises ID #,s

We do have a premises i.d. number. We have some friends here in WY who are participating in the pilot project, and they have done great with it. They do track their cattle all the way and get the carcass data back. They've made great improvements in their herd (which was already quite good)...

    Neighbor Bulls n Patchin fence

We used to have the problem with neighbors bulls and our bulls fighting and tearing up fence. Then we put up a GOOD Gallagher power fence between them, and haven't had any trouble since. We turned it on right away so they got a good shock, and we always leave it on, so it doesn't get torn up...

    Allflex Tags

We've used Allflex tags and had good luck. I was at a Stock Growers seminar recently where Allflex had an electronic tag reader there. Gallagher is also marketing one. From what I understood, they are all working to improve the technology and the read range, etc., but some of the ones out now...

    Electric fencer grounding needs

Hey, I'm no expert on electric fence, even though we've got a bunch of it. When I have technical questions like this, I call my Gallagher rep in WY or MT. Morgan and Larry know everything I need to know about power fence (and then some)! :o These guys are the experts. They have an 800#...

    Fencing materials

You can get good fiberglass posts at High Country Ag Marketing in Whitehall, MT. They distribute them in WY, MT & ID anyway. (don't know about other states) They used to use sucker rods for posts, but now make their own 'cause there was some trouble getting the rod. Anyway, I have bought...

    Electric fencers

We've used Gallagher power fence on our place for over 20 years - the permanent high tensile, the off-set brackets on our old existing fences, and the portable stuff. It works great and I highly recommend it. Gallagher is available in the US and several foreign countries, according to their...
