You are north of me but what is the nearest town? We have now lost over 600,000 acres to wildfires in Washington and many of the fires are minimally contained. There was a photo posted yesterday of cattle drifting through an area that had already burned but they are not likely to...
To all of my family, friends, and to those I don't know, living in and around Okanogan County, I wish you all protection from the wildfires and a swift recovery from this disaster.

Your calves look good and the wildflowers in February are amazing. We were at the ranch last weekend and it was in the 50's F. The grass is already showing some green which usually happens about mid-April. No calves yet.
This winter has been very mild but with extended periods of fog; sometimes freezing. There is a chance that we will receive snow over the next few days.
