Is the tranny stuck also even with the clutch disengaged? We mow with a couple H's and sometimes when shut off the starter locks up some how. All you need to do is unbolt the starter and pull it out of the block off the flywheel and roll the tractor in gear several foot then put starter back in...

sound like they work ok for what you need them to do OT but I'd advise aginst leaving them in vehicles because of the high temps.

We like rowse double bar mowers for meadow hay and alfalfa ground.

We still use them we have three, a 24,36 and 42ft. They work real good for us as we still use a beaver slide to stack hay.

I use Kings ropes in 3/8 soft or xsoft 30-32 for tied on 35-45 for dallying plenty of rope as my horses get me there :wink: never broke one yet but I always try to borrow somebodys when loading critters in a trailer :lol:
