Italian Spaghetti Sauce

1 28 oz. can crushed peeled tomatoes
or 2 1-lb. cans mashed tomatoes
1 12 oz. can tomato paste
1 16 oz. can tomato sauce
2-3 cups hot water
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/4-1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1-2 teaspoon salt
1-1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, diced
2-3 cloves garlic

Combine all ingredients except beef, onion, and garlic. Allow to simmer.
Brown the beef, onion, and garlic. Drain fat. Spoon beef-onion mixture into sauce. Simmer for 1-2 hours. Serve with spaghetti noodles.
