Just to let ya'll know, I think I have found the puppy for me. Thanks to Faster Horses for looking for me.

I have tried everything short of looking under rocks, but I can't find a female heeler mix puppy for under $100 and I'm not going to pay that sort of money for what boils down to being just a mutt. I am willing to pay a reasonable price, but free is always best. So if anybody knows of a 'oops'...
